As a financial educator and consultant, my passions lie in promoting financial literacy, ensuring digital safety, advocating for sound money practices, and guiding others through the intricate maze of modern finance.

I graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in Political Science and Philosophy. My passion for financial literacy began in the wake of the 2008 Great Financial Crisis while working with a publicly traded financial services company in Austin, TX. A few years later, I went on to work for a private wealth management firm in South Carolina. However, I soon became disillusioned with the industry and its misalignment with the people it was supposed to serve. Therefore, I decided to dive deeper into my art and entrepreneurship. My wife and I started our family business in 2014 from scratch, scaled it, then were blessed to sell it in 2019 (six months before the pandemic). It was over the course of 2020 and early 2021 that I began delving back into the investing world. I spent 6 hours a day researching cryptocurrencies and how a select few were building the infrastructure for the new digital financial system.

Financial literacy is crucial today as it empowers individuals to make informed decisions about their money, helping them to manage debt, save effectively, and invest wisely. In an increasingly complex financial landscape where systems are constantly evolving at an unprecedented rate, understanding basic principles is essential for achieving long-term financial stability and security.

I believe that everyone should have a basic understanding of personal finance and the ability to manage their money responsibly. I strive to help people develop the confidence and skills to make sound investment decisions. While working with clients, I often debunk common misperceptions and irresponsible narratives in order to protect them from falling victim to ever-increasing amounts of scam tactics being used and predatory financial practices that are unfortunately very common at this time.
